Image in the Light May 12, 1998

This was such a great experience to have, totally unexpected but full of hope. When something like this happens I believe anything is possible while in the light.

This morning when I closed my eyes and focused on the light the image of a tall tree (a pine tree, I think) came to me. It was cracked in half, became uprooted, and crashed to the ground. From the centre of the tree I saw two giant white hands. They reminded me of clouds reaching up from the ground. In the palm of these ethereal cupped hands was a new tree, vibrant green and healthy. The hands reached out, placing the seed tree in the ground next to the fallen tree, replacing the one that had just died.

How interesting, from death to rebirth… I was left with the impression we must never underestimate the power of the forest and its ability provide and sustain life. Without the forests where would we be? What would our world become?
