There was not a cloud in the sky this morning when I got up. Before the sun began to warm my favourite spot though it was a very chilly morning – “bracing” one might say. It did not take long for the sun to pop up over the mountain so that I might enjoy the view. It took me a moment to realize that Imbubura the mountain we climbed, was not shrouded in a layer of clouds, a rare site and so I took this early morning photo.
Last night was the full moon, so once again it was time to let go of the old problems accumulated during the last month and say prayers for how we want things to go this month. Patrick and I did our own private ceremony after the family went to bed, then stood outside in the crisp night air enjoying the moons presence afterwards. I could not sleep, there was a restlessness in me for what I hope will be a month of fulfillment on this project. As we make progress daily, I think I am also a little apprehensive as it is a big step to put so much of myself on the table for others to see. Despite my sometimes difficult recall of the past, as I share the story I find there is acceptance here so far and a willingness to help the book go forward.
So as I look at this amazing mountain in the early morning light I say a prayer of thanks for the gift of being here and all that it has given me.

You’re certainly compelling. Is it ok to ask one or two questions? It’s just that..I’d add some other reasons that support this.
