As a child I became a political prisoner. That is not something one expects to hear from a Canadian citizen. But I was not born in Canada, so although in appearance, it seems I belong, and had a very ordinary Canadian life, I did not. What I went through as a child is what happens when the government feels it has the right to decide how you should think, who you should support, where you should spend your money and how you should live. In my case it was because of who my father was. The people who were taking loving care of me became political prisoners because they supported my father and were kind enough to take me in. It cost them their lives. In many ways it cost me mine as well even though I am still alive to tell the tale.

I’m not sure the people I know today completely understand the consequences of being me, how it destroyed my life and continues to haunt me.  Maybe they don’t really believe my story, or maybe they simply cannot comprehend someone they know who has lived with them, served them, laughed with them,  having experienced such atrocities. But then most of these people have never seen what happens when their government turns on them, but they are beginning to. Actually many are seeing it first hand now as they protest in different places across the country. They are seeing how the police and the army can be turned against them because of government – just like communist China. They are seeing how money, profit and corporate loyalty trumps human rights every time…….worldwide!

Canadians have not been free since we began to pay income tax, which is actually illegal because it was supposed to end after the war. But we locked ourselves in once the the agreement was signed the first time. Our grandparents should have stopped our parents and their children from agreeing to the terms and conditions which allowed this crime to continue. But then once you also begin to accept the handouts such as pension cheques, GST and tax rebates which do not come close to making up for what we pay in taxes each year, you get lost in an endless loop. I refer you to a story written while in Ecuador (link below) in which I talked about this before and included a partial article written regarding how our government invests our tax dollars so we can collect our Canada pension. This gives us a clear indication of how corrupt our government is judging by how unconscionable their investment choices are. I will never collect Canada pension after reading this article based on the way the money was acquired. Just can’t do it. I would rather starve!

So here we are now – fast forward to a legal protest by thousands of people from every province in our country, against our governments mandates which stop us from choosing how we live. We have been headed in this direction for as long as I’ve been alive and beyond.

Blackmail is not choosing. Our government is blackmailing its citizens to make a choice they want so they can continue to make millions of dollars, or we  lose our freedom. Some say, the really ignorant ones, that we made our choice to lose our freedom because we didn’t “step up” and ensure the safety of everyone – too bad, so sad. How incredible they still believe they are free and will remain so. This really twists around in my brain because it is so illogical, it is almost funny listening to them. I really have to hold myself back from laughing out loud at them because it will only cause more anger on their part. They are anything but free. They are completely dependant now on the government allowing them to eat in a restaurant, go to a game or the theatre, based on the latest booster received. Our PM has pre-ordered 10 for each of us, so I think this will carry on until the injected are all dead. The rest of us might be dead too, but it will be on our terms.

It has been my understanding blackmail is illegal. But then the governments leader profiting from shares in companies supporting his position is also supposed to be illegal, but our PM does it anyway. The police and army personnel arresting innocent, legal protesters, instead of our PM, are the ones committing  a crime.  At some point they will be the ones arrested and held accountable for the choice they have made to support the PM. And no, JT is not the boss – he’s also being directed from the corporations. He will spend the rest of his life in jail though, once this turns around and yes, I believe it will turn against him. and when it does, the police officers who arrested peaceful protesters today I believe will regret their decision for the rest of their lives. Their families will also pay a heavy price for their indiscretions. Unfortunately, they will probably not know what hit them. I’m sure they actually believe this government will protect them, but this is impossible. Everyone who participated in this, do not move to stop it, or helped to ensure it kept going, will have to answer to and explain why they chose to do so.

There is a pastor from Alberta which the provincial government seems hell bent on making an example of. He has become a political prisoner. He has been treated, on more than one occasion with appalling inhumanity. The reason, because he is very outspoken about the mandates and has refused on the behalf of his congregation to follow them from the start. So they keep arresting him. Those police officers will one day regret their choice to “just follow orders” I’m thinking.

When listening to this, it is difficult to believe it is Canada

Political prisoners are treated without respect, dignity or humanity. The gloves come off, so to speak and anything can and will happen to a prisoner taken for political reasons. Apartheid was not so long ago that we should forget the atrocities which happened to anyone who fought back against the South African government. It seems our memories are short as our own apartheid has begun here. We also seem to have forgotten Nazi Germany, Argentina’s Dirty Wars and the conflicts in the United Kingdom, Australia and Cuba. Because I was a political prisoner, I understood what was happening from day one, but for most it was difficult to grasp this could happen in Canada where we have always valued our perceived freedoms. Talk to the indigenous in any country and they will be only too happy to share their grievances in relation to unfair prejudicial treatment of their cultures through government control.

Our country enslaved the asians in order to get our railways built. They were not treated well, yet people are still proud of our railway. How is this possible?  We imprisoned Japanese citizens of Canada simply because of their culture during the second world war, in case they were spies or murderers. No paranoia there! We imprisoned native children under the guise of saving them, something we are still paying for. We also enslaved the black people who were forced to come to North America against their will, because we believed we were superior. And of course there were those in North America who bought stolen children from South America believing they were saving them. Is it any wonder then we are here today?
The good news is, we now have the opportunity to change how we live think and behave. I know we can become the change we so desperately want. We will do so because we love our families, we want our children to grow up and live a full life – we know we can do better. But first we must accept our failings for turning a blind eye in favor of accepting the bribes which gave us some comfort. Our acceptance of government help has given them the power to work behind the scenes, because we were too comfortable to look, in order for them to gain the ability to have overreach today.
