I’ve been trying to find a connection with the constellation Cetus, which is Latin for whale, and a real constellation, but the stories connected to it did not fit with the incredible peaceful feeling left with me from my dream about the whale the other day. So I continued to look and found what is shared below. There has been understanding as well, more so now from reading this persons interpretation of the whales spirit value, how my mother is connected to this dream. Emotional rebirth, a term I’ve not heard of before, but it truly fits – the whale seems to enter my aura when I’m going through strong emotional changes, so very cool to receive this information.
My mother has been looking for space in my heart lately, and I believe I have finally accepted she belongs there. The whale from my recent dream seems to symbolize the connection with the great distance they can communicate with each other, as much as a 1,000 miles. Because the whale was in water, but visually was also a constellation, I see this as being connected to the “Spirit” realm, the transmission able to span the depths of the ocean from that of the night sky, the threads binding us are infinite and indestructible if we nurture them. The whale was swimming with its baby, so this also represented the bond between mother and child in my own soul. Not just between my mother and myself, but with my own children.
This bond is not broken despite the lack of their presence in my life, just as my mothers bond was not broken even though I believed her absence all these years meant she did not love me or care about my well being. Her silent presence today suggests how traumatized she had been to have such a strong need to separate herself from me. I have realized over the past few days, since having the dream, how very difficult it must have been to even look at me knowing my birth, my relation to my father, her lover, was the cause of so much of the grief she was going through. My birth triggered the falling of dominoes which led to so much pain for us all. History changed in a way which no one today can comprehend, because of the birth of one little girl, innocent of any wrong doing. Just being born was enough. So today I realize I’m finding my mother at last. Whales have been known as the record keepers, so this also tells me the time is coming for the possibility of secrets being revealed. The shaman told me the year 2025 is specific to this happening for the world, so for me on a smaller scale, but one which could affect many.
This was found on my work computer, the link did not come up for me on my iPad so I just took a photo of it to copy later. Most links found related to the Greek mythology seemed to be a dark tale and I couldn’t find comfort with connecting it to my dream. But this resonated with me as I work through issues from my past as they are affecting me today.
Cetus is the whale constellation representing the seer and one’s spiritual eye. When activated it symbolizes a deeper understanding of life’s cycles.
