Today we reach not only the end of a chapter, but the end of the story “Finding Home”. It has been quite the ride for me, one I didn’t expect to take, so I hope I made the right choice by putting it out there.

I have said so much over the last few months, talked more here than I have most of my life I feel, so I think I will take a bit of a break from posting stories now that the book is done.

I do hope that the story has found its way to those who can benefit from hearing what I went through. Based on some of the comments, I think it has reached a few at least. It’s funny because the comments are all from people I don’t know and I am not sure how they found my blog. Life is a mystery is it not, one we are not always meant to figure out.

I wish again to thank those who have continued to read the blog and give me support on this endeavour. My journey now begins as I head down another trail, one I have yet to uncover the reason for. One step at a time, one day at a time, this is how I look at life now – no set plans, just learning to trust and follow my heart, learning to face my fear of not knowing and perhaps not having enough. I am learning to undo the constraints of a life lived in fear; so many fears, some that will never go away I think despite how often I challenge them.

As ever the artwork and my beautiful companion Mali are the constants that keep me going, give me hope, encourage me to take one more step. May you enjoy your day, one moment at a time, there is magic in those moments if we choose to see it. I know better than some that it is not always easy to see the magic, but it is there and it’s amazing!!!

Your comments on “ May you enjoy your day, one moment at a time, there is Majic in those moments if we choose to. See it” brought to mind when I was in vigil with my wife Lauren in hospice care where each moment was so precious and the gratitude I had for our time together. At the same time it made me also realize the Majic of the moments I did not always realize that where there, and they where amazing. It made me remember a quote Lauren use to say something to the effect, “The here and now only happens once and will never return….” I hope I have learned the lesson to see the Magic!
As per our conversation today, if you type the topic in the search engine, it will bring you to the stories related to that topic. Then just click on the title and it will bring you to the story…..hope that helps

This is such a nice way to end my day, thank you very much for sharing this! Lauren’s quote is very accurate, something we should all try to remember. Enjoy your evening….:)
